Sindh Government approach FIA over Online campaign claiming it took Bribes from Traders

The  Sindh government has approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with a complaint of an online smear campaign against it aiming to sabotage the provincial Government’s efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic.

Sindh Government has written a letter to FIA, to alert the Authority regarding a social media campaign against the provincial government, saying that audio and Video clips with fake claims of taking Bribes were deliberately spread on social media.

The provincial Government has accused PTI provincial leadership including Haleem Adil Sheikh of posting these accusations online.

Senator Murtaza Wahab, the Provincial Government’s advisor says that baseless claims are making round on social media and Watsapp groups that the Provincial Government is taking bribe from Business Community to open the Industries. He mentioned that such false allegations have been raised by rival parties.

The Karachi Electronic Dealers Association (KEDA) had condemned the propaganda against the Sindh government.
