Dubai Likely to open for Tourists from July

Dubai’s tourism official has said that it could start to reopen for tourists from July. Director general of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Helal Al Marri in an interview to Bloomberg TV has said that the process would be gradual and could also be delayed till September, depending on restrictions across different countries.

Tourism remains Dubai’s one of the largest industries with 16.7 million tourists last year contributing over $40 billion to the local economy.

UAE has suspended Tourist visas since Mid-March as a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
