Dollar Falls to Rs. 157.8 in Inter-Bank trading

  • Rupee today recovered against dollar to hit this-week high

The Pakistani Rupee strengthened against the Dollar hitting Rs. 157.8/US$ in Inter Bank Trades. The Rupee today opened at higher levels close to yesterday’s rate of Rs. 163/US$. However, during the day Dollar touched low of Rs. 157/Rs.157.5 on back of adequate Supple and lesser demand.

Earlier during the week, the dollar index hit a three-month low as higher demand led Rupee to decline.
